Multiple record scores were produced during the National Western Stock Show’s (NWSS) Ram Invitational Freestyle Reining competition at the 2024 NWSS (Sunday January 07). After the dust in the arena cleared, Devin Warren claimed a back-to-back title with a huge 233-point score that appears to be the highest in the history of the stock show’s freestyle reining event (since 1996). I love covering this event every year. Not only because of the amazing horses and horsemanship on display, but also because the photographic challenge keeps me on my toes! Love the type of action and lighting atmosphere I get to shoot in this competition.
